Chicken Pot Pie Soup

One of our favorite crock pot recipes is this chicken pot pie soup.
My husband and boys love it cause it’s yummy, and I love how easy it is to
make this winter time staple. And whether your at home or in the RV, it’s easy and
perfect for a lazy day at home, or the campsite.

You will need…

2 large chicken breasts
Salt and pepper
2 can cream of chicken (I prefer the chicken and herbs)
Half a stick of butter
2 cups Chicken broth
Chicken bouillon
2 cups frozen mixed veggies
Half of a 24oz package of frozen egg noodles

Directions

Place your chicken in the crock pot and season with salt and pepper.

Then spread the soup over the chicken, and top with butter.

Mix 1tsp chicken bouillon paste or dissolve 1 cube into the chicken broth
and pour into the crock pot. Slowly stir it into the soup.

Let cook on high for 2 hours or low for 6hours.

Remove the chicken and shred. Before adding chicken back to the crock pot,
whisk together the soup in the crock pot, add in the frozen egg noodles,
frozen veggies then the chicken and stir together.

Cook for another 2 hours on low, stirring a few times.
The noodles will thicken the soup into a delicious sauce!

Serve with some hot dinner rolls for a meal reminiscent of grandma’s chicken pot pie!
